unBAITable
Fishing used to be your favourite thing in the world. Then the Fish Protection Bureau (FPB) outlawed it! Ten years later, you find your childhood fish journal, which inspires a very bad decision. Put on a fish costume and go illegal fishing.
unBAITable is a fishing game. Catch fish, evade FPB patrols, sell your haul to a black-market shopkeeper, and decide if this whole fishing thing is even worth it. Buy upgrades, gamble your earnings, and manage your suspicion. Your choices shape your relationship with the shopkeep and where the story ends.
This game jam release contains...
- 15 story nights and an endless mode
- A score system for comparing runs with friends
- 36 fish to catch and record in your journal. Wah!
- Changing weather that affects fishing conditions
- Upgrades, consumables, bargaining, and gambling
- Multiple endings
- Lots of crime.
- FISH. MONEY. FISH MONEY!!!

really really cute! I love the various expressions and reactions that the shopkeep has even though I really really suck at this game ahha. The radio mechanic is unique! I think it's really neat, I did kind of find that it just absolutely destroyed me the moment i ran into a fish that was somewhat hard to catch and I couldn't lower the alert in the following nights, but the game is really really fun and I love the dialogue options/all the ways of talking to the shopkeeper.
It was really enjoyable! Thank you for making this
